Summer Slowdown
Arrived on a late Saturday afternoon after leaving the airport. Parking lot was moderately full for a later afternoon visit and I took this as a sign I might be in for a rousing time. Dropped my keys to the valet who actually gave me a ticket! That's a first for Landing Strip since I've been visiting this club.
Walked up the stairs and was greeted by a bouncer who asked if I wanted a booth. I declined and opted for bar seating, no cover as well. Stage had 2 dancers that were 6s and below with interesting dance moves (they couldn't dance to save their lives). Club had quite a few groups in booths but the bar was pretty empty. As usual the seats right next to the stage were gone but there was ample seating on the sides and back wall.
Bartenders were the most attractive women in the club and were very friendly. Domestic beer cost $8.50 per on dayshift which caught me by surprise, guess I have another thing to blame Biden for. Energy from the dancers and the club overall was relatively low. Eventually it went down to 1 dancer for three songs which didn't help things.
