A rare night time visit

After taking a self imposed hiatus of a few months, a few friends wanted to go out after our fantasy football draft so we decided to hit up Desires around 9pm on Friday night.

I wouldn't consider myself a regular at Desires, but I was going once every two weeks or so for a while. Always during the day though around lunch time. I was curious to see what the night shift was like since it had literally been years since I was in there past 3pm or so. I know from visiting the board and speaking to other people that night shift is considered worse than day shift for talent.

For starters, it was not as crowded as I thought it would be. I've seen it more crowded during the day. Yes, nearly all of the barstools were taken by patrons but a few of the tables near the stage were free, as were many seats next to the stage. The little padded seat area with the wall was available as well. There were 2 or 3 cocktail waitresses as well as two bartenders behind each bar. The outside was open even though it had just rained heavily and the grill was on if you wanted a hot dog or burger.
