Stranded in Charlotte

After missing my connection at CLT airport as luck would have it, I ended up booking a hotel with walking distance to this club. The area seemed reasonable but I did spot some sketchy characters on foot between hotel and club but nothing to be too alarmed at.

Cover was $20 and for that you would think they would have a DJ at least. They did not, music was on auto play. No waitress to take your drink order, you had to go to the bar. My beer was $7 plus a tip. The girl at the door and the bartender were both dressed in stripper like outfits.

Aesthetics of club and girls were both very good overall. I prefer more dive bar type places with loose women but that is not what this place is about. Many have commented on how lame the Charlotte club scene is and now I know why. According to this club's website, the same ownership group has nine clubs in the greater Charlotte area. That has to be most of not all of them. Unless the ownership changes hands I predict little will change.
