Thursday pm at Gallagher

Gallaghers Is in a very industrial area of Long Island city. Aside from the green awning you could easily mistake it for a warehouse from the outside. I stopped by around 6:30pm on a Thursday after.conirming that they’re open early Thursday through Saturday.

There was no cover and no one at the front entry so I just walked through the second set of doors into the main room. Aside from high ceilings and a second floor balcony, this could be a sports bar that hasn’t been updated in the last 30 years from an appearance standpoint. Not really worn down, just dated with a very large rectangular bar straightahead as you walk in and the main stage inside the rectangle.

There were probably 10 to 12 girls working, mix of white and Hispanic, mostly mid to late 20’s, generally attractive. I sat down at the bar and ordered a beer, I think it was $6 but I didn’t really pay attention. I was tight on time and looking to do some dances before I had to head out. An attractive blonde Russian (8.5 body, 6.5 face) sat down next to me and made small talk. I told her it was my first time visiting post pandemic and asked about dances. She informed me that there were no longer individual dances, only private rooms, $100 for 15 minutes, $200 for 30. We agreed on 15 and she took me upstairs to a room. Room was good sized with a comfortable couch and a privacy curtain with a very obvious security camera. Good time was had, plenty of too way contact. Nothing to write home about but above average technique and enthusiasm.
