It was fine (again)

Call me crazy but it was another weekday afternoon and I thought I'd drive by Rick's again (see my Pandora's review from Aug 11 for context). This time I kind of assumed it would be closed again and sure enough the same woman was outside when I pulled up. "Are you open?" "Yes we are open but we have no entertainers." I should have said "ok admit one please" just to see if she tried to talk me out of it. Anyway, I drove up the road to the place I knew I'd end up at anyway.

Why go to a corporate club in the middle of a weekday afternoon? Well, because if you know what you're getting into and you're ok with that, then it isn't half bad. Although I think drewcareypnw just proved in his latest review that I may even be selling it short on that front.

I arrived around 3:30. Seemed like a lot of cars there. Daytime cover is $17. A middle-aged woman took my money. It comes with a drink, even if you're not thirsty. After bumping into some furniture in the dark I found a place to sit down near the stage that would never end up being used. It's a decent sized stage. There's also a smaller stage on the other side of the room that I'm assuming doesn't get used very much.
