The Essential Rundown (TL;DR)

Cover Charge and Booze: Came in on a Tuesday and paid a $5 entrance fee. The guy just glanced at my I.D. and didn't scan it. Pricing on the drinks seems totally arbitrary. I had a beer and about three watered down rum-and-cokes and the price was different each time! The beer was $10, and the cocktails ranged from $12-14. The bartender seemed like she might've been on something.

Club and Clientele: Parking lot is small, next to a Pleasures. Plenty of space during the day shift. There were maybe four or five cars when I pulled in. For an early afternoon on a Tuesday, there were more customers inside than I was expecting, but still not a whole lot—about 15 guys or so, mostly blue collar Hispanic dudes and a handful of older gents. The club is pretty small and really dark. You walk in and the doorman's to your left, the bar to the right. There's an ATM tucked into a little area just behind the bar. There were two stages in use (one with a pole), one on either side of the club. The perimeter is lined with little side tables and small benches and few accent chairs in the middle. Plenty of space to just sit and chill, at least during the day shift. More customers started coming in just as I was leaving around 4:00 or so. I felt pretty safe, didn't get a thuggish vibe at all. But again, this was the day time.
