A Good Visit For Once!

I've been to Southside Johnny's in the past, but it's been a long time. I arrived around 10:30PM and there was a whopping 30-dollar cover charge. In the past they didn't charge that much, but I guess this is a result of inflation and the fact that this is a BYOB club.

Anyway, when you first enter the building, a security guy will pat you down. Off to the right is the bar and towards the back of the club is the stage. This is the type of club that doesn't get warmed up until late into the night. The earliest I'd recommend coming here is 10PM. If you go any sooner than that, there's a good chance they won't even be open yet.

They do allow smoking here and usually that's a big negative for me, but since most of the people weren't smoking cigs, I didn't find it so bad. There were all different types of customers-- Hispanic guys, white guys, black guys-- some were young, and others were old.
