Previously more open... but not today

I've been here many times before but this was my first visit in a few months. I've previously characterized Kittens as "hit or miss" since I've had some enjoyable visits and some visits that weren't worth the time. This latest visit is in the "miss" category.

On this particular afternoon, there were about 7-8 dancers though there weren't more than a couple of gentlemen patrons in the main area at a time. The club seemed quite quiet even though it was 2pm or so. The first thing I noticed that was different than EVERY other time I've been there is that I didn't get pounced upon quickly. Now I consider the change to be a welcome one but I think it just shows how slow it was that day. You would think that with few patrons, the dancers would be hungrier to solicit a few bucks.

After 5-10 minutes, a dancer who had been sitting alone near me decided to approach me. She was a petite white dancer whose name was something like Wildflower or Sunflower (or something similar--two words as one and not necessarily including 'flower'). I didn't know it at the time, but she was probably the closest to my 'type' of all the dancers on duty. She was uninspiring in her visit with me and I politely deferred.
