I visited Hustler club San Francisco on Friday July 29, 2002 from about 9:30 to 10:15 pm, after a visit to Condor club. The entrance to the club is on Kearney St about half a block down the hill from Broadway. Only parking in the area is on streets or some small pay lots. I was staying at a hotel only a couple of blocks away. Doorman asked to see ID but no security stuff. Then walked down a flight of stairs and paid a cover of $15. The club is not so much in the basement but rather because of the hill would be at street level on Columbus behind the club. In fact there is a sign on Columbus directing patrons to enter on Kearney.

The club is fairly large. To the right after entering is the bar. I didn’t have any drinks so don’t know prices. Going forward into the club there is an area with tables and chairs and then the floor drops a few steps into the area around the stage. The stage is oval shaped with one high pole. The rail around the stage is a couple of feet high with the actual stage at a lower level within it. There are chairs around the outside of the rail and rows of tables, chairs and couches farther back. The upholstery in some of the seats needs replacing. Raised at bit above the stage along the right wall of the building are more private booths. The lighting was pretty fancy with lots of rotating lights.

There were about a dozen customers and an equal number of dancers. Most of the customers were sitting and drinking with dancers at the bar and only a few tipping at the stage. Stage dancers got topless in their final song of their set. Some good pole work. Decent looking dancers.
