One Night in Portland, Part 2
After the Acropolis, we headed downtown, nearby the hotel where I was staying. Rouge is always solid, but two new spots had recently opened down the street, and we decided to give them a shot. First up was Club Detour.
It’s an unusual layout, three different floors, and you have to keep going upstairs to get to the main section, where the bar is and where most of the girls are. As the previous reviewer said, this feels very urban. Lots of younger clientele and a very diverse group of dancers. There’s one mainstage, but several other poles scattered throughout the club. First floor is where the dances happen, and there’s also a nightclub down there, too, that we didn’t go into.
The girls looked pretty good, but neither of us were feeling the vibe. It wasn't that it was bad--actually, it was pretty cool--but we wanted something a little more chill. We had a drink, looked everything over, and went down the street to X Erotic Lounge.
