Tumbleweeds
Walked thru an inoperable? metal detector (my phone didn't set it off) at the door and paid a $10 cover Wednesday at 11p. No ID check, but I look older than 21. Apparently you only need to be 18 to enter the clubs in Daytona.
Club entrance felt very quiet and divey, but the door guy assured me that 10 girls were working. I like quiet dive bar strip clubs in unfamiliar cities, so I went in.
The club is quite large and L- shaped in plan. You enter at the long end into a large space with a bar along the north side and floor tables. A large stage with 2 poles and an aerial hoop is at the rear left, beyond another good size bar with about 20 stools. Another bar and floor seating area are in the short end of the L at the back right. 12-15 lap dance cubbies line both sides of this rear floor area. Only the middle bar and a few tables by the stage were in use during my visit. Smoking is allowed inside. The club could definitely handle a big crowd during Spring Break and Bike Week, but the rest of year it probably seems way too large.
