Nothing Spectacular but Still Worthwhile

Though I visited this club several times in the mid-to-late 2010s, a recent Saturday night was my first in more than three years. For better or worse, almost nothing has changed.

The set-up is an unusual one: it's in the basement of another club called Deja Vu. The upper club is 21+, serves alcohol, and is topless only, while the bottom club is 18+, no alcohol (and I don't think you can bring drinks down from upstairs), and still topless on stage, but you can get full nude in private dances. A $10 entry here gets you a stamp that's good for both clubs, and both have separate outside entrances and parking. (The entrance for Dream Girls is not visible on approach from the direction of I-94; you specifically drive just a little past the entrance for Deja Vu and you'll see a lower-level parking lot entrance. Take that one. It can accommodate some semis, too.) The place is one long, rectangular room with a drink/food station by the entrance and the curtained-off booths for private dances on the far end. A long, low stage with two pole runs more than half the length of the room. The board at the entrance which lists all the dancers working that evening has always been there, but a screen listing their order and time (a common feature in other clubs) may be new. There is an announcer, but it looks like they may have a jukebox system now?

When I arrived at around 11 p.m. local time, 17 dancers were on the board, but since dancers can freely transition between upstairs and downstairs, not all may have been on the Dream Girls floor at the same time. A couple were black, but most were white. They danced on stage one at a time for two songs at a strict 3 minutes per song, and the majority either circulated through the room or sat down with patrons; since the place was never more than half-full during my 1.5 hour visit, I got visited by several. Most were squarely not my type, and overall quality was average at best, but there were three who caught my attention: one of the black girls and two blondes, one with a more medium build and one who was quite petite (my normal preference). I did wind up getting dances with the one of these three who actually came to my table: the medium-build blonde, who wasn't perfectly my type but still had a nice figure.
