Good Times at Goldfingers

I went to Goldfinger’s last Friday night and had myself a good time. I’ve been there once before and while I wasn’t too impressed, but I was satisfied enough to come back a second time and I ended up having a much better experience. The first time wasn’t a bad experience…the second one was just better in all regards. First, the entrance to the parking lot from Miramar Road can be a little confusing, at least it was for me the first time. But there’s plenty of parking and a bar right next door that you can go to before you go to the club for a few drinks (you can also pop out of the club, get a drink, and head back in if that’s your vibe). We got there around midnight both times. After our ID was scanned and we paid the cover, we got in and were able to see that the club was fairly slow. There were more workers than clients the first time I went, and the second time it was about even. Regardless, the women were beautiful and the ratios will work in your favor. There’s a stage in the middle surrounded by individual chairs for you to see the action up close. There is a gap between the stage and the chairs, with a physical divider in between. There’s also couches to sit/lounge on a bit further back, and a pool table in the back by the bar where you can play with some of the girls. Overall the place was clean (even the bathrooms) and the vibe was good. The music isn’t too loud, it’s quiet enough to chat up the girls and clearly hear what they’re saying but loud enough for the dancers to get into it.

One thing I liked about the club was that the women are less transactional about their business. They’ll walk up to you, chat you up for a bit and make good conversation. After 2-3 songs (some longer than that) they’ll ask if you’re interested in a dance, at which point you make your choice. Other clubs the girls will come after you and immediately ask you if you want a dance, which some people prefer. I prefer to talk to the girl for a bit, feel her out and see if she’s what I’m looking for in the dance. Of course, it’s their job to charm you but if you’re just a little bit discerning then that can make your experience in the VIP lounge that much better. Most girls are happy to see you and strike up conversation quickly. A few would simply let you know that they were pretty tired and get straight to business: “Are you interested in a dance with me?” This happened just a few times and to be fair it was 1 AM or later when they said this.

I ended up getting a few dances. Price is $120 for 15 minutes. There’s also another option that is something like $30-$40 dollars per song (about 3 minutes). I wasn’t really interested in that option, so I don’t really remember the price. I just know that the math worked out to $120 for 15 minutes was a better bang for your buck. Also, I don’t think I ever saw anyone do the per-song option both times I was there. Again, I wasn’t really paying attention to that so your mileage may vary. I also ended up getting a water bottle, which was $3. No alcohol is served, but they have soda cans and some fruit juices, one of the girls I was with had a cranberry juice.
