I went with a friend to Splendor on Thursday evening. It’s visible from Highway 249 (behind Costco). We got there at 6. Happy hour is from 6-8 pm daily. $1.75 beers, great way to start the night. As far as the interior goes, it has one stage in the front with a waterfall feature. Several tables in the front part of the club and several more in the back where the laps are done. Upstairs is VIP, you need to buy a bottle to get upstairs. Overall, not a bad layout as clubs goes.

The girls were fairly average; they ranged from 4-6. Most were very nice and low pressure. In fact, too low pressure as we never had a girl ask us for a lap the entire time we were there (1.5 hours). We tipped at the stage and talked with almost all the girls, but none ever took the time to talk with us, oh well. There were 2 dancers that were scary, one black and one Hispanic (they never danced on stage). The Hispanic dancer never took no for an answer and freaked us out at times, the black girl just stared at us, pretty weird.

Maybe the place picks up later in the evening, and the quality goes up as well, but this was a pretty average place overall. There are better clubs in downtown Houston
