Fashion Police

Finished business in the area and decided to give FC dayshift a try. Dropped my vehicle off to valet and I'm greeted by a bouncer who proceeds to grill about my polo shirt and khaki's. The material was deemed "athletic" and he was persistent about asking me to switch shirts into something more "formal". I've seen and heard horror stories about FC and when they "choose" to enforce the strict dress code. But Michigan summers are known for humidity and I tell him to piss off and tell valet to bring my car around. I'm assuming valet texted someone inside but as I am waiting for my vehicle to come up a manager from inside comes out and apologizes and takes me in. A free booth would've been nice but I'll take the apology. No cover on dayshift but the bouncer and hostess both STRONGLY encouraged tips. It's quite unbecoming if you ask me especially in an upper crust establishment where most patrons tip generously.

The club is quite busy on this day shift in terms of clientele but dancers not so much. Bad talent on the stage by FC standards and average by other clubs. I take a seat at the tables near the stage and order a pop while I decide what beer I want. Waitress brings it over and tells me it's $9 per and no free refills. If you've had a soft drink from FC you know the glasses are tiny.

3 poles in rotation on the main stage and so far I am not impressed whatsoever. Night shift review begins shortly and there is quite a few 7s are here. After the review is over they disappear to the back. Generously tipped a brunette whose a 9 on my scale. After her set she cozied up another patron in a booth. Tipped a statuesque blonde (8) and she came by and there was absolutely no personality. I assumed the dances would be robotic and sent her away. Lastly tipped a beautiful AA (8.5) who also disappeared after her stage set. Didn't see much circulation this evening and the energy of the crowd felt low.
