A Lucky afternoon at the Lucky Corner

I have been to (and posted reviews on) several of the lower-end Akron clubs but this particular establishment was new to me. Arrived at about 1:30 on a Saturday afternoon. The parking lot has been described by others well (dirt/gravel, two rows but be careful— you could get blocked in if the lot was crowded. There were only about six cars when I got there. No cover, no bouncer at this time of day. An attractive bartender (I think her name was Ashley) sold me a bottled water for $2. Did not seem to be a drink minimum at this time either. You enter the club through a small room where there is a pool table and then enter a larger long room with a bar on the right hand side. There is a second room that seems to be “under-construction” and the private dance area was also there (more just a bit later). There were initially three women there - a petite young black woman named Jamie, and older, mildly heavy blonde woman who was giving bar dances to a customer, and a younger blonde woman who was sitting with a customer eating lunch. Jamie was at a round high top table with tall chairs and was unattended so I joined her.

Jamie and I exchanged some chit-chat. Asked her about the club and she said the the bar-side table dances were $5 and the private room dances were $20. We did a couple of bar dances and she provided a very nice grind but was in her bikini set and really didn’t show anything. When I asked to touch she said, “not here, in the back” meaning the private dance area. So we went back for a couple of private dances. I had to give her a couple of dollars to feed into the jukebox for music. The private dances are done in one of two rooms that are separated from one another by a wall and from the room “under construction” by a heavy velvet curtain. There was a pretty filthy couch in our room. Jamie proceeded to totally disrobe and provided a very high mileage dance that was very satisfying.

So I was Lucky compared to some of the other recent reviews. I could totally see how this place is hit or miss. Jamie was attractive— Just before we went back, there was another AA dancer who came out of the private room with a customer— she was curvier and very short cropped hair with a devious smile. I would have tried her, too but I left after my dances with Jamie. In the daytime, this neighborhood seemed fine. I don’t know about safety at night.
