You'd be crazy to go there on a Wednesday

I know it was a Wednesday, and a typically dead night at the clubs, but I was in town with 4 business associates from South Florida, and we were determined to make the most of our time in Cleveland. Crazy Horse was the closest to the bar we were drinking at, so it was our first stop.

The Club was very quiet when we arrived around 10:45 pm, and we were greeted buy the doorman, he was a pretty friendly eastern European guy who seemed very interested in one of his dancers wardrobe issues. He allowed us in with no cover, and a 2 drink minimum. 4 double bourbon and nearly $100 later we were on our way to our seats. the price of the drinks wasn't the problem per say, but I was very surprised there there were only 3 whisky options for us Chivas, Jim Beam, and JD (not a great selection in my opinion). The bar is immediately on your right as you arrive, so you might as well just grab that drink before you sit. Also, there were no cocktail servers, so the bartender was doing double duty (when she felt like it).

The main area of the bar has a medium size, 10Ft round main stage, that's surrounded by a handful of tables and then a wall of raised booths. Some of the regulars had set up shop off the main stage and pulled most of those tables together to create one little area where most of the dancers were hanging out. We realized the vibe wasn't very upbeat, and quite honestly felt a little off, so we went to the much smaller second stage to see a very petite Latina name Lana. She was giving a very slow, uninspired pole show, and we wanted to change the vibe a bit, so the five of us got right to the rail and began tipping.

This is where I was most surprised. We went on like this for 2 more songs, and she never really seemed to care. Ok, maybe she was having an off night? Surely the next dancer would come hang... Nope. Not on this night. The next dancer named Savannah came by with a similar low key approach,and the routine began again. She was a slim but curvy brunette with glasses and a pretty interesting spine tattoo(of an actual spine} going up her back. At least this girl made a little eye contact, but we just couldn't get any interest from any of the dancers. I mean, yes, we wanted to laugh and have some fun, but we're all well versed in club etiquette, so it's not like we were rude or obnoxious. We did want to have at least a few girls offer us dances. Not one stopped by or even asked us for a dance. A few of the girls were very content to sit in the booths, while on their phones. the others were very happy to sit at the large table with the other dancers.

Eventually, one of my group asked the eastern European man about sending some girls over to hang with us. He said he would, and quickly disappeared into the back. We sat for another 15 minutes, this time at the main stage, and still nothing. We continued to tip, and the stage dancers thanked us for the tips, but we never saw them again. It was overall, a really blah experience and not one I would recommend to any one. In my opinion, most of the dancers weren't physically attractive, and even worse, made little to no effort to actually entertain. Save yourself the time, and try any of the other clubs in Cleveland.
