After Work Drink

Sapphire Times Square
1674 Broadway New York, NY 10019
This was before the pandemic, Jan. 2020. I stopped in after work around 5pm. They had a happy hour special with two for one drinks. I ordered a pair of margaritas. I hate triple sec, so I tried to get the bartender to sub-in Grand Marnier, but she didn't understand what the hell I was talking about. Finally, just allowed her to make her normal drink (with triple sec), wasn't great, but it was drinkable. Took my seat near the stage and started to watch the show. Lots of Eastern European women were dancing. Most of them were between sixes and eights. I got a lap dance from one, but it was just meh (I left my drink behind and wished I had brought it with me). Eventually, an asian women comes to the stage (this is my bag). She starts to dance and I am enthralled. She could tell I was fan. I ordered another set of drinks and she came over to chat. Turns out she was from Uzbekistan and had a heavy Eastern European accent, which honestly just made her hotter. We head over for a dance, in the open, they might have a VIP section, but I didn't inquire. Much better dance. I truly enjoyed this one. Afterward, we sit down and the waiter asked if she wanted a drink. She ordered something I didn't catch (it sounded expensive), but luckily the waiter said they out of that. I opened my wallet, noticed I am out of cash and excused myself. She was clearly disappointed because she thought she found her whale for the night. Overall, decent experience, but I can see the cost getting out of hand quickly if you are not careful.
