Not worth the gas rn
First time to the palace in a long while as I've been traveling about the country. The setup remains pretty much the same. 15 to get in. No alcohol. 1$ pops. Guys at the front businesslike yet you can talk to them and they'll hear you out. Guys tipping the girls dollars at the stage and they dress or undress as much as they like. Other guys are some locals, some regulars, some traveling college guys into town. Setup isn't the classiest, but pretty good for being in the middle of nowhere near the PA border.
The palace has changed especially in it's human resources. Gone are the classy, more mature, and slightly older dancers that used to be the main attraction here. The dancers were now more of the younger, urban/goth variety. Lots of tattoos, rings, and some big bodies too. That's okay many of them were cool to talk to. But at the time I went, there was only like one clean cut fit girl that was one that I would have like to get dances from. I dont remember her name, I just remember she had a tattoo of a rose with a vine and that she was saving up for college. All the other guys knew it too as there was a long line for her.
I didn't feel like waiting so I settled for a young ordinary looking blonde with lots of tats who said she was from a nearby town. Dances were 20 in the back, I did too and it didnt feel really worth it, subdued grind and vibe. She had been vaping and doing other stuff most of the day so I think she was quite tired by the closing hour. The visit wasnt really that special but was nice to get a little company for the night. I guess it's nice if you are in the area. But gone are the old days it seems when you would consider driving hundreds of miles to see a special someone where it was pretty certain you would leave with a smile on your face. Especially with gas prices going through the roof, stay local, stay safe fellas!
