Quick In and Out. No, Not That Kind.
Made a quick trip to Subi’s from 10:15-10:45 on a Monday evening. As you pull into the parking lot, there’s a sign saying “Stop! Valet Parking $7.00.” There was no one manning the valet station, so I pulled right in and parked my own car. Plenty of parking available, especially on a Monday night. There is also street parking available in the neighborhood around the corner, behind the club. There was a $10 cover; no security or ID check. Bottled water (my drink of choice) was $8.00 at the bar.
Nice, upscale-ish club, with a medium-sized main stage and a smaller satellite stage, both with poles. Seating is available at the bar, at tables around the room, and at booths, which in the evening are $20 each. There was one bar and a DJ who played rap music while I was there. There were only a handful of customers (all at the bar), and 7 dancers – all white except one who was either AA or mixed-race. All seemed that they would be someone’s idea of attractive (which is good), but not all were attractive to me.
Dances were $20 done in a lap dance area with no entry fee. Apparently there is also a VIP room of some sort, which one girl said was $200; not sure what that entails, as I did not inquire further. I had some regular dances with two of the girls. The quality of the dances was mixed, but overall not bad. I’ve certainly gotten less mileage for more money at other clubs. I’m not from this area, but I was here a couple of years ago during the afternoon and had a *much* better time. I have been back a couple of times now during the evening and have been underwhelmed. I’m beginning to think my one good afternoon here was a fluke. As always, I’m sure your mileage may vary. I would return, but Subi’s is nowhere near the top of my list.
