I Like the Private Area Here

Visited on a Monday evening from 11:15-12:15. Free parking in a paved, lighted, and fenced-in lot at the back of the building. If you have never been here before, it’s important to know that although it has an address on Michigan Avenue, the parking lot *and the entrance to the club* are around back, so you must enter the lot from Kean Street, which runs parallel to Michigan Avenue, one block south. Your GPS won’t tell you that, and your Uber driver might not know that, either.

Cover was $10; no security or ID check. Bottled water (my drink of choice) was $7 at the bar. This is a relatively small club, nicely appointed, with a decent-enough bathroom (for those who care about such things). Seating is available at the bar, at low tables around the room, and at raised booths for which there is a charge. As I have done in the past, I sat at the bar.

There is one stage, which if you turn your bar stool around, is pretty much right in front of you. They have pretty sophisticated stage lighting, and either had a smoke/mist machine or there was residual vape “smoke” in the air throughout the club which obscured the view a little but was not overwhelming. A DJ played rap music and announced the girls both as they came off the stage and the next one came on. I saw 10 dancers, half Black and half White. Most of the girls, while not dancing, were clustered in booths or at tables with customers. They did not circulate much, though a couple sitting near me at the bar were quite friendly.
