A Friday Afternoon in June

I was in the mood for a little afternoon entertainment and decided to see what Vivide had to offer. Thanks to my GPS leading me along a different route, I was largely able to avoid the potholes along the south end of Marietta Blvd. The parking lot was filled along the front and partially filled along the backside. After parking, I paid the $10 admission fee and received a light pat down from security. The security guy said that there was plenty of meat downstairs.

I made my way downstairs and made a pitstop by the restroom. The restroom seemed to be something of a hangout spot. There was a dancer and another guy enjoying a chat with the bathroom attendant. The restroom was clean as the attendant was in the process of mopping. The attendant didn’t push for tips. I eventually made my way to a spot on one of the center booths. Not much had changed in terms of the physical layout since my last visit in mid-February. I did notice that there seems to be an additional VIP space upstairs on the end near the dancers’ locker-room. I’m not sure if or how much drink prices have changed. The patrons continue to be a mixture of Black and white guys over the age of 35. You might also notice a few Latino guys.

There is a still a mixture of dancers. There were probably twenty-five to thirty dancers that were available. I arrived shortly after 4PM, so dancers trickled in and out during the 1 ½ that I was there. The majority of the dancers were Latinas, followed by a number of Black girls. There were about three or four white girls. The Latinas seemed to range in age from early twenties to late 40s and ranged in size from slender to thick. Most of the Black girls appeared to be in their 20s and ranged in size from slim to thick with natural bodies. Dance prices are still $10 per song.
