Pre Mem Day matinee visit

I stopped by mid-afternoon on the Friday before Memorial Day thinking that the place would be hopping with dancers & customers trying to get a jump start on the long weekend. Boy was I wrong. I arrived about 3pm and there were only about a dozen dancers and maybe 20 customers. It was an awesome day weather wise so that likely contributed to the sparse crowd.

A Corona was $7 and there is no cover in the afternoons. Depending on your preferences, one potential benefit of being there on a day like this is that the dancers circulated much more than usual in what is known as a regulars club. I come here about once every couple of months, so I am far from a regular, but this time I was approached by more girls for dances than ever before.

Plenty of available seats at both bars. I found the dancer quality to be quite lousy while I was there (I left about 6pm) - there were only 1 or 2 dancers that I would rate over a 7. Many of them were quite large, especially in the caboose area. I realize everyone has different preferences , but a couple are so big that I am shocked that the club keeps them on as dancers.
