Against my better judgment, I went to the Playpen Gentlemen's Club on a Saturday night at 21:30. Parking is limited, and the back end of your car literally ends up being just a few feet off of Kentucky Highway 9. I would have been clueless as to where to park if I hadn't gotten the last available parking space. There was a $10 cover charge at the door. This strip club is basically a dive bar with dancers that wear bikinis. The talent does not strip anything off due to local ordinances. At the far left end of the interior is a community VIP room. The bar is along the middle of the back wall. Sincweisers were $5 per bottle. The right side of the room has a runway stage with a stationary seven foot pole. Along the front wall of the club, to your immediate left as you enter the club, is a lap dance area with absolutely no privacy. It is a big waste of floor space because nobody wants to pay for lap dances in plain view of everyone in the whole club when there is better value and more contact in the semi-private VIP area. Music is picked by dancers off of a TouchTunes jukebox in the back right corner of the facility. Most dancers paid for songs with their own funds, but a couple dancers begged for singles from patrons prior to their stage sets. The ATM has a maximum withdrawal of $200 per transaction and a fee of $5 per transaction.

There were twelve dancers on the Saturday night shift. Out of the dozen, only the newcomer Khloe passed the erection test. The eleven other women were dick shrinkers. There are two requirements to being a dancer at the Playpen: (1) you have to be a cigarette smoker and (2) you have to have experienced childbirth at least once already. Being overweight is optional, but also quite common. I definitely understand why the nickname for this dive bar is the "Pig Pen". Dancers wear bikinis and strip nothing off on stage, although a few did briefly flash their tits. There is no contact at the stage. If you wanted to tip, you had to just toss your dollars onto the stage itself.
