First visit, kind of disappointing

Made my first visit to Sahara on a recent Friday afternoon because a dancer that I had met at another club was on the roll call. I was impressed by the size of the lineup but less so by the quality and value.

Afternoon cover was $15 plus the obligatory drink ($10 bottle of water). The club is one square room with a bar along the back wall. Chairs surround the single stage with two poles in the middle. Another ring of chairs and cocktail tables is around that and then more tables/chairs on two sides on a slightly elevated level.

There were already a bunch of dancers there when I arrived around 1:30 and more continued to arrive as the afternoon went on. There were probably around 25 by the time I left. Mix of hispanic, white and black with one or two Asians. The majority were about 6s to my taste, with some being a bit thick or older or just kind of plain. I was approached by quite a few and all seemed to have good attitudes even if I said I wasn't interested. The dancer I came to see was the hottest in the place but naturally she was busy the whole time.
