HK Thawed Me Out of the Chicago Chill

I am writing to recap my April visit to Hong Kong. This was actually my third trip to Tijuana this year, but I hadn't spent much time in Hong Kong; I had spent much more time in Adelita Bar, Chicago Club, and Gloria Bar. While I had read many positive reviews about Hong Kong and wanted to check it out the previous trips, my friend wasn't impressed with the spot; he thought it was filled with con artists. I tried to tell him that wasn't the case, but he felt more comfortable with the other spots, so I went with him. However, I thought it looked like a fun place to be, and I said I would spend more time there on my next trip.

My April trip was a solo trip. I arrived on a Thursday and booked a room next door at Hotel Cascadas, which I highly recommend. I'm a big and tall guy so I got a deluxe room with a king-size bed. Very comfortable with all the amenities. I also bought a VIP card - which gave me a good discount on the room.

I arrived just after noon, and I didn't have to wait long to get my room. I had booked online and called before I crossed the border; they said it was ready. After checking in and taking a nap,I went to the club around 5pm. I didn't think there'd be much going on at the time, but was I certainly wrong.
