Bad vibes on a week night

I don't know if this was just an off night, but everything about this place gave me a bad impression.

There was no cover at the door. The club is a small room with a bar along the front wall. You walk in and you're already standing at the bar. The well drinks were not very strong. I was charged $8 for a drink that was mostly ice. I guess that's inflation. After two drinks I didn't feel like I had drunk anything.

The place was fairly empty and the layout was a little strange. There's only one pole in the corner furthest away from the bar. There are about four tables available if you want to sit away from the rack, although nobody was sitting at them. There are a lot of mirrors on the back wall to create the illusion of space. It was fairly clean. There's a smoking patio in the back, which I did not visit, and a taco truck attached to the club, which I did not sample. There's a sign next to the front door saying "no gang colors." I wonder if they've had specific trouble with violence in the past.
