Beyond bad timing

Ok, so it was a nice hot afternoon and nobody wanted to be in a dark bar. But it was Friday, 4:30, and why not check out some hopefully good looking dancers. Safe fenced in parking in an industrial area. $8 cover (for what, I don't know). 5 dancers, 5 customers. Beer $4.

When I walked in there was no one on stage. 3 dancers hanging at the bar. I got a beer and sat at a table for a stage view. One nice looking, but heavy dancer tried to get me at the bar but I said I wanted to relax and preview first. Sat down and waited, waited, waited. No dancers on stage at all for 30 minutes - WTF? The dancers just sat at the bar and tried to talk guys into VIP dances from there. Why dance when you don't have to?? Every dancer there was heavy and weathered, at least what I could tell from them sitting on a barstool!

Worst experience I've had in 40 years.
