Enjoyable First Visit

Despite the fact that I only live 20 minutes from this place, I have never been in there before. I do plan on a return visit as soon as possible.

Wiggles is located in an industrial section of Hammond and without GPS, might be a little difficult to find. When I arrived at around 9:30 in the evening, I backed into a grassy area 50 yards from the entrance to avoid paying a parking fee. The entrance was protected by a vested security guard that gave me a light Pat down, and I then proceeded inside and paid a $10 cover. Having previously read about the place, I came fully armed with dollar bills.

The place is small but clean. There is a mirror in front as you walk in with a pole and small stage. The bar, a pretty nice one, is immediately to the right. One other customer was in there when I walked in, a very young Hispanic person who barely looked to be old enough to be there. Having had several beers earlier, I asked for a diet coke, which was only $2 plus another buck for tip. Not bad!
