RI Dolls aka Dollhouse
I went to the club on Thursday, April 12 which happened to be the day of their 15th Anniversary Party. They gave everyone a free tee shirt, had drink specials, $1 Jello shots, complimentary food such as shrimp cocktails, sliders, wings and a raffle for a free 15 min topless VIP. No cover, no license scanning. I got there at 6:00 PM when they opened and left after the raffle shortly after 9:30 PM. The club closes at 1:00 AM Needless to say, I didn't win the raffle.
When the "happy drunk" who was sitting at the bar with his friend told the waitress who offered some complimentary food, "I didn't come here to eat" he echoed my sentiments, too. I didn't come for a tee shirt, complimentary food, etc. I'm here for the girls.
The club is small and upstairs looks just like the pictures on their website. I entered the front door and was greeted by a bouncer who welcomed me to the club and said the men's room is to the left. Just beyond the men's room is the "side" stage. Straight ahead is the bar with about 12 chairs which spans the distance along the wall between the "side" and the "main" stage which is up front. The bar had two small TV screens showing a hockey game. That made no sense because who goes to an anniversary party to watch a hockey game? There are small round tables with about two to three comfortable chairs in the area bordered by the bar and stages. On the left and right side of the main stage are seating areas reserved for bottle service and the seating area on the left doubles as an area for the girls to use as they go on stage. Next to this seating area are the stairs that go down to the lap dance, vip area and the dancer's dressing room. I didn't get a dance so I can't comment on the downstairs. Next to the stairs is the DJ booth and opposite the DJ booth is the door to the smoking / vaping patio. The upstairs tables are ideal for a conversation and because it's relatively dark there is a sense of intimacy. The smoking / vaping patio was a disaster. Most of the patio furniture was broken, turned over, missing cushions and trash all over the deck. A dancer told me there was a storm that caused the damage. Really? The furniture looked 15 years old and the few cushions there were flat and falling apart. At least, sweep up the trash. Better yet, get new furniture for the 15th Anniversary Party!
