Not a regular? Don't bother

I had low expectations for visiting this place on a Wednesday night, but in retrospect they should have been even lower. I arrived a little after 9. The club is a re-purposed old-timey family restaurant, lots of wood and brass everywhere. As soon as you walk in the manager/doorman asks for your ID and a $5 cover charge. There is a very bare-minimum dress code--I got away with just a T-shirt and shorts, but saw a guy get turned away at the door for wearing a wifebeater.

The only girl who gave me any attention at all was the bartender, who was actually looking quite lovely in a black bikini and fairly friendly. Not sure if she was on the menu or not, but it's fairly uncommon in western PA clubs so my guess is not. There were 4 other "dancers" that I could see, which I put in quotes because none of them bothered taking to the stage during my time there. 3 of them were only interested in chatting it up with a couple of regulars at the bar. When the regulars left, they went right back to looking at their phones and chatting with the bartender, completely ignoring the three other perfectly good customers (myself included) that were there. I saw a fourth girl who actually did entice a guy into doing a dance/VIP session, who even in a moment of desperation like this I would probably pass on (think Paris Hilton at age 75 after multiple botched plastic surgeries).

I have had a good time here in the past, especially with VIP "rooms" (really just couches closed off with curtains) a relatively good deal at $150 for a 1/2-hour. But it's really only worth it on a Friday or Saturday night, otherwise it's a waste of time if you're not a local/regular.
