Slow start, but a fun night

My wife and I were in town for Exxxotica so we decided to check out Admiral Theatre for the after party and to see Lauren Lotus as their guest dancer.

You walk in, get the rules from a bouncer, pay, then get walked to your table. The place is pretty big, it’s an old theatre so there’s a main stage upfront (with no pole), seating up against the stage, seating with straight back chairs and tables on the floor back from the stage, and more comfortable typical strip club chairs with tables and a padded benches raised up around the perimeter. There’s also two very small stages (round and about 3’) with poles on each side back away from the stage. We got sat up in the center of the VIP area. Which was good for us as we generally just like to watch the stage show.

We wanted to get comfortable and get seats so we showed up early, a little before 9. This ended up being way too early as we were the only people there and the dancers didn’t start for about 30 minutes after we got there. They started by doing three songs on stage followed by 3-4 songs with the stage empty. Around midnight or so they were doing 3 songs on and 2 songs off, then around 2 they were doing 2 songs per dancer with no breaks in between. At this time the dancers were rotating from the main stage, then to the pole on the left, then to the pole on the right.
