Hadn't been to the Blue since before COVID, and decided to check it out. Got there around 7:30, still a bit early for the evening shift, but about a dozen dancers there. An equal # of customers. $5 to get in, that also got you a cheap can of complimentary beer they had in a big bin next to the doorman. Tried to chat him a bit, but he gave curt answers, so moved on. Realize he's not your friend, and he's there to show his presence and to keep the a-holes tame. Sat at the far end of the bar, close to the stage but within view of the front entrance which is also where you enter the LD area. It's an ideal spot to check out the action. Within a couple minutes, at least 3 dancers came by to quickly summon me for a dance, some with a friendly touch over the right spot. No dice - like to have 1-2 beers to warm up and view all the dancers before narrowing them down to ones I'm interested in. Also not a fan of the aggressive approach by some; I prefer those who are more low key and wait for me to show interest. Finally saw a cutie, dark-haired with natural perky B's. VIPs are $20 to doorman/bouncer, $100 to house, $200 to dancer (plus tip for extra extras). I had heard that if you go early enough in the evening, dancers are more willing to cut a deal. Still, seemed too much for VIP; can often get mileage in the regular LD area. ($20 to guy + $whatever to dancer). This dancer offered a lot, wanted $150 for herself, but settled on $100. Left happy; will come back again.
