The Hippo appears to be promising

The day started good, meetings were cancelled and my team was ahead on our project, so nothing to do. I entered a morning poker tournament and finished top 5 (first payout), which covered more than my typical strip club budget. I meant to hit both Talk of the Town (down the street) and Hippo, but started at Hippo first. It wasn't that Hippo had a lot going on, but I was distracted enough to keep me there until my dinner reservation.

The place is essentially an updated Olympic Garden (RIP). It's in an area of the city that's run down and seen better days, lots of wedding chapels and adult toy stores abound. It feels safe, but not as safe looking as where other clubs are. Upon entrance I was asked for ID and the door man performed a pat down. Upon entrance is the cashier cage, as I was here in the afternoon (3:30 ish), I was charged no cover. All the employees were very nice and courteous. After the cage, there is a life size-ish metal hippo. Had I been drinking with my friends, I would definitely gotten a selfie of me riding it. The hippo is in a medium size foyer, to the right starts a bar and the entrance to the OG that I was familiar with: a main room with restaurant style seating and a main stage along the opposite wall. Bathrooms for the entire place are to the right of the stage. To the left is the curtained VIP areas where I had high mileage laps.

To the left of the foyer is where all the people were. At the time, 5 girls, and maybe 15 patrons at its peak. The left side has a long rectangular stage with like 2 poles and another small bar opposite of the entrance. To the right is a curtained VIP area (these are largely uniform with a love seat and a small table).To the left of the bar looks like a couch lounge area, where I assume single laps occur. None of the girls offered any single laps.
