Look, pumps is weird. There's no cover, no fucking DJ (thanks), weird tipping policies, but hey, no strange antiseptic vibe. It's a bar, there's tits, they're friendly within reason, and they're pretty all pretty fucking hot.
Criticism, as others have mentioned: the tip parade is weird. I wish they just charged you $10/hr to sit at the bar or something. I like that the girls get paid decently for pole dancing -- and in fact the strong female-controlled vibe to the place is really great, you sort of feel like the girls are there by choice, sort of -- but the constant coming around omg-i-have-to-give-you-a-dollar sucks. i guess the dollar a song per girl is the way they work it out.
but i was patient, and got dances from a couple of women, and i enjoyed both the coversation and the dances and the bodies were really satisfying. So I think pumps is great. i could live there. forward my mail.
