Nice club, less like a brothel and more like a (cheaper) U.S. strip club

We were in Cabo for 4 days and hit three clubs. Mermaids was the last club we hit at about 9:30 on a Saturday night.

The club is located across from Cabo Wabo in a relatively safe and touristy area. There is a doorman standing outside waiting to attract tourists on the corner. When you enter, you have to go upstairs and the doorman will take you to a table, much like a Vegas club. Be ready to bring some small bills to tip everyone, just like everywhere in Mexico and clubs in particular. There was no cover on Saturday night when we went in, but then again we were the only customers in there when we arrived. So they may charge a nominal cover later on.

The space itself is somewhat small and they needed more air conditioning. But there were about 10-12 girls sitting around on their phones when we walked in and sat down, and most were very attractive and young. Of the three clubs we visited (Amnesia, Lord Black's, and Mermaids), this club had the second-hottest girls, but the smallest environment. domestic beers cost $5 each, so not bad. Tequila shots were normal priced - $8-$12 depending on what you were drinking. There was a bar when you walk in that had seats and a couple girls sitting there, then a small stage with the usual small tables and chairs around it like every strip club in the world. The bathroom was fine and clean and not attendant to tip.
