Warning - very long review

Peppermint Hippo, the new strip club where the original OG was located. Now I’ve heard great things about OG back in the day but sadly I missed my chance to visit. So I was a bit excited so to speak to hear a new strip club is opened. Don’t recall how I’ve heard about this (might be a news article) and searching online yields very limited reviews (there’s 1 Yelp review and one from Dr. strip club) which he’s raving about it.

I believe they’ve been opened since early April so I thought it’s time to check out this new club. I arrived on Saturday afternoon around 4pm as I didn’t want to go in when it’s too crowded.. Pulled up the parking lot and there’s quite a few cars but I’m guessing they’re workers/dancers. Security guy up front to check ID and do a quick pat down. No cover for locals but I had to wait what seems like a few minutes as there’s no cashier. I wasn’t going to be rude and just walk in so I waited and they finally show up to double check my ID.

As soon as you walked in you’ll be greeted with the infamous Hippo, I mean this guy is HUGE! (no pun intended) It’s definitely a gimmick but it worked as I had to stop for a second to admire this guy. Once I walk past this giant statue I see the club layout is very opened and high ceiling (like 2 stories) Main and only stage I believe has 3 poles. With small table and regular chairs surrounding it. The outer area are surrounded by more tables and chairs. There’s some larger booths on the right side of the main stage and to the left it’s the VIP area (with curtains) The men’s restroom is just right around the corner as soon as you walk past the cashier.
