Can be fun but there are less gems on the roster and the energy has dropped

It’s been a little more than a year since I’ve reviewed the Mill. It used to be my preferred club, but it lost ground to other options. There’s still some fun to be had here with the right girl, and the laid back charm of the place and atmosphere encouraging conversation and hanging out with the dancers is still somewhat unique, but it’s no longer great.

First, the negatives. Friday buffet and free drink at 5p still have not come back. A lot of girls have left and while some attractive ones have been hired, many others have moved on and some of the new girls are not in as great a shape, bringing the general roster down. Also, there are a lot of new girls so dances and rooms are uneven in terms of experience and value. That’s always true, but it’s more so with the roster turnover.

Drinks are still reasonable and check the website for specials. There’s usually a beer special of some sort for $6 or less. Food is still excellent, including the wings, quesadillas and burgers. They are all in the $15 range. Parking is always free, secure and well lit. They do charge a cover, usually $10 on Friday and Saturday nights. I did get hit with a $5 cover on a Thursday night. There wasn’t any special promotion, but the bar was busy so they may have just charged it because they thought they could. No daytime cover. They have opened up the side section that was closed to reservations and “dinner dates” for a couple of years. It never made much sense to close it, so it’s good that it’s open so people can spread out. Bathroom still smells of piss.
