Good meal with good value. Short on dancer attention

I came in for some lunch, drinks, possibly private dances, but wound up just opting for food/drinks/stage show.

The food at Players (at least that I’ve sampled) is all very good. On this day I had a steak and mashed potatoes, which only set me back about $12-14 (it was a special). Beers are also very appropriate at $4-6, unlike the $8 you get charged at a lower-scale spot like Bogart’s or Henry’s.

There were a couple of girls I wouldn’t have minded spending some time with, but my experience on the dayshift here is that the customers are mostly regulars, so random passersby like me just stopping in a couple of times a year don’t get a ton of attention. As a matter of fact, in the hour+ I was at the bar, I didn’t see any dancers/customers heading back (or upstairs) to VIP area.
