Visit to the Beach

Found myself in Des Moines over the weekend and decided to try two clubs. I had visited Lumberyard and Minx last time I was in town (pre-Covid), so decided to try out Beachgirls and Outer Limits this time.

Arrived at Beach Girls about 9:00 pm on a Friday night. Although this place seems a bit remote, it is just of the interstate and there is a large lit sign leading down a well-maintained gravel road. I was very surprised to see an almost full parking lot so early in the evening. Worth noting that this club is about 25 minutes from downtown and nowhere close to any of the other strip clubs in Des Moines which are clustered about 5 miles north of downtown.

$15 cover gets you in and a wrist band. They also sell drinks as you enter but most people were doing BYOB with a six pack or more. Upon walking in, I found a most full club. As you walk in , there are a few chairs in front of you and you are at the end of the lone stage with is a long dog bone shape. Standard strip club lounge chairs and small round tables go along each side, with raised couches along the left side and small bar area on the right side (which is not used except for a place for staff to hang out).
