The Good: It's a Brand New Booby Trap. The Bad: It's now more like a Booby Trap

Changes in work & home have drastically affected my ability to club. After over two years I finally got the chance and I went to two of my faves Cheetah Hallandale & Tootsies on a weekday afternoon. Went with over 1000 in my pocket and left with still a grand in my pocket after a tragically disappointing afternoon. I thought I’d formally retired after that terrible afternoon. But then, a rare opportunity for Pompano night time clubbing arose and I was back in the game.

I arrived at Booby Trap at 1145 on a Wednesday. I’d heard a lot about the new club, and I have to say, from what it was, to what it is now is an amazing transformation. It really is one of the nicer clubs in south Florida at this point. 1.00 to park, and 10 at the door. You enter in, and see a bar, with a two pole stage to your left, with another bar behind that. There is an upstairs with another bar, but no one was up there at the time. From up there not really good views of the stage or the action on the floor, so it probably only works in a setting were you’ve got a bottle and are bringing some girls up there. If you want girls to come around, getting a bottle and throwing some ones is the way to go. There were about 20-25 girls there on the night. Definitely enough for the customers in there. Not overflowing, but certainly not empty. Got a beer, not sure how much it was but with the ones I got back around 7-8.

It does seem like a Booby Trap club now, and fits a niche which was not present in the Pompano triangle. More urban music & vibe, but not in the shootout at 2am in the parking lot way, just he music & vibe way. Did get a pat down at the door though. The DJ must have been from new York or something. Was definitely making his presence known and would occasionally cut songs short. But was playing a lot more new York hip hop songs which made things a little different. While the girls are not much of the Instagram bodies found at the Doral Booby Trap, nor does it have any tip parade, they do have the Booby Trap habit of being lazy, and much rather looking to drink free liquor and smoke hookah. Didn’t get approached much, and unless you are drawing the girls over with bottles or dollar throwing, you may need to chase them down. Girls themselves were all Latina, save for one skinny middle aged and weathered white lady. Did seem to speak a fair amount of English. They start on the far pole, and seemed to take a random number of dances before they moved to the second pole. Like the old booby trap, no rhyme or reason as to what they took off or when. And when a girl got on or off the stage didn’t seem regulated at all. Girls were mostly natural, but a couple of fake boobs and asses. Decent mix of girls and mostly affirmatively pretty. Good quality control. I finally settled on a couple girls of interest. One kind of looked like Fergie from the black eyed peas, but with a slamming body. I didn’t have much time so the fact that I had to chase them down got to be annoying. The one I most wanted, with some huge (fake ass/hips) and very pretty face (looked like porn star Havana Ginger). Saw her more than others going into the lap dance room. Came by me after coming out from the room and I told her to come back when she was ready (don’t like girls coming straight out of the room). She took her time to return but did. She was wearing a bikini top, and a small sheer skirt thing over that big ass. We go back, and the lap dance section is like the one at booby trap doral, decent sized covered benches with dividers between them. Much more sturdy than the rooms at the previous club, where girls would almost knock down the dividers. No one else was back there aside from us. Room was very dark, which I didn’t like as when I’m choosing a dancer based off her body, I want to see that body. Before we start the bouncer comes to the back and offers me a deal to upgrade to a room. Doesn’t say a price but I got the feel that the clientele in the club which was more focused on money throwing and girls dancing around the bottles wasn’t doing much in terms of lapdances nor rooms, so it felt like he might have actually been offering a lower price than the usual night rate. She did offer other services in the room but no prices were discussed. Prior to the dance she clearly told me the price was 25 per dance. After each dance she clearly was like that is one, do you want another. So kind of professional in that regard, and helpful when the DJ is making his presence known and song stops & starts are not always clear. Definitely felt interesting getting lapdances to real hiphop, but I like that and the girls still dance so I guess reggaeton & trap music is not a must have. She was wearing a bikini top, and a small sheer skirt thing over that big ass. I presumed I would get the bikini top pushed to the side, and the skirt pulled up but she took both off before the dance, which I liked and appreciated. So not much more than a tiny thong in between me and that body. Dance was pretty good. OTP but not more than that. Got her ass close to my face once and from either that or her vajayjay, there was a distinct fishy smell. Not bad enough to stop the dance, but bad enough to keep my face away from her hefty ass. Might have made me turn away from extras though. Had a great set of natural tits, like tits you presume are fake and than are like holy shit these are real. Got three dances, good girl would get dances from her again, but she needs to freshen up down there. Had a good time, but I definitely had to get on the road with a long drive home. Left about 1245. Didn’t like that I had to chase down girls a little, but enjoyed my night.
