Desire is a pretty small club in an industrial rail yard section of town. Parking is pretty limited. I had heard of problems and luckily found a spot directly by the front door. The spots around back were poorly lit and given the isolated location this made me a bit nervous. There is a pat down to enter which is typical for this part of town but the bouncer was a cool guy and didn't have any short man flex. No cover for my visit. The club was fairly dead when I arrived. There is a bar to the right with booths for people who just want to drink. There are two stages that I could see. I sat at the rack for maybe five rotations. Girls were average to above average. I do have to report at least one lady who had strong body odor. The only one I spoke to at length was quite friendly and we talked about science fiction for while during and after her set. None of the girls asked me for a private dance. The building overall isn't in great shape but the interior seems to have some fairly new wall decor and was reasonably clean. The bathroom was in rougher shape. Not filthy but pretty worn out and in need of renovation. The bartender deserves a note of praise for breaking a hundred dollar bill and giving me correct change which isn't a given at strip clubs. I ordered a gin and tonic. It was average but not over priced. I didn't have a lot of time that evening but I did a few girls there that I will ask for a private dance upon my return. The best aspect of my visit was the lack of hustle, upsell or tough guy attitude. That goes a long way for me.
