Total shit show

Wow. My first time here. For any Detroit area mongers, this place has a striking similarity to the pantheon club on mi ave (former cafe Chablis) EXCEPT instead of it being a black club it’s a Latino club. Both in customers and dancers. Free parking, red carpet entry with fancy gas heat lamps (which is still funny to me as it’s just not cold here in Florida) has the feel of walking into a high end club albeit much smaller. That’s where everything ends though. As soon as you walk in there’s a guy with a TSA wand and attitude practically giving a prostate exam from head to toe. I was wearing shorts and he was very handsy on my cell phone, keys and wallet. Normally it’s not a big deal but just seemed weird.

Once entering the club I was tempted to turn around and leave but figured mayvas we’ll stay. There were only a few seats available, bar was packed with customers and dancers and no wait staff. So you had to work your way through the crowd to get a drink. Hard pass for me so I just grabbed a seat.

Now I’m not one to worry about my safety in any situation, but this was about as close to pushing that envelope as I’ve been in a long long time. The crowd was seriously not only out of control but also extremely drunk. The chairs stage side have rollers on them. Now that may be a great idea when the club has carpet for floor but this bar had ceramic tile for the floor. So you’ve got a bunch of drunk out of control Latinos that are barely able to stand and then sit backwards on chairs that role and dump over there were at least two guys that I watched it fell over drunk and had to be escorted out by the two bouncers God help them if they were getting into their cars or anybody else on the road last night.
