I haven't been to a club since COVID started, but things seem to be calming down so I figured I'd try going back to the Paramount.
It's a totally different group of dancers, and overall I think it's a mild downgrade.
Not that the girls were that bad, but the Paramount always had a few hidden gems that aren't around anymore.
Had a couple dances from Opal, but she was extremely aggressive, trying to get me to take her to VIP without building a connection, so I moved on. Good dances, if slightly mechanical.
May was more fun, ended up taking her up to the VIP for a half hour. A lot more enthusiasm, seemed like she was actually enjoying herself.
Overall I'd say the Paramount is still better than No 5, but it's also like 30 minutes less of a drive for me, that helps.
