Ruby's II: The Emerald Strikes Back

Bridgeport, CT. Wednesday night at midnight. Commercial strip, just parked right outside on the street. There's like 3 doors in the front, little bit of guessing game but the middle one is the entrance. Older tall bald guy with glasses come over. Cover is $10 but free for military. BYOB, full nude spot. They don't serve alcohol. Set up is the rectangle bar on the right, seating all around. And the left is a big area, stage and LD area in the back. Lap dances are $20, no VIP here just LD's. Dancers go up two at a time on stage, and they even dance on the partition separating the bar side from the stage side. Overall I actually like the vibe here, really old school, wood paneling looks like it's straight out of 40 years ago. I wonder how long this place has been around. Customers, not too many about 7 or 8. Most at the bar. One note, the chair at the stage were super comfortable, they just hit that spot on my back just right.

Dancers, one hefty white girl and most of the others were chunky latinas. There was one really cute thinner latina there but overall I was not to high on this lineup. About 7 girls working. More 30ish than 20ish here. One girl got into it and started yelling at another dancer and stormed out, I didn't catch what is was over I was busy drinking my $4 seltzer. In talking with a couple dancers, seems like a high mileage spot. I sort of wished they served alcohol here but I guess if I do come back next time I got bring some bruskies. Weekday night sort dead, I would try again on the weekend maybe. The question on my mind as I left, if this is Ruby's II where is Ruby's I? Perhaps we will never know.
