had a chance to check it out finally

I've driven past this place for decades but I always had family with me so I couldn't stop. But I was alone today on an early afternoon with some time to kill so I stopped by to see what it was. It's on highway 15 (hence the name) in Lake Hopatcong. That's in Morris County (you need to know that if you want to look it up on tuscl, it doesn't appear when you look at just the New Jersey listings). It's very close to the Picatinny Arsenal, a major Army weapons R&D lab. I suppose it would cater to the Army crowd but I saw no evidence of that. At this section of the highway the northbound side divides from the southbound side with a lot of local businesses sandwiched in between. So you need to be headed south to get to the place, it's on the left. North and south of the town highway 15 is a limited access highway but around here it slows down to 40 mph and there are lots of traffic lights.

It's a fairly small stone-walled building with most of the parking in back. The parking lot could use repaving. Inside it's unpretentious. It's got 2 large rooms, one has a big square bar with a big stage in the middle of it with a dance pole on each end. There are wooden bar stools all around the bar. There are several big screen tv's on the wall and a bunch of mirrors. The other room is basically empty. There's a smaller room with several booths they are out in the open with no privacy. The restroom wasn't fancy but was clean.

When I was there around 2:15 or so, there were 4 or 5 girls scattered around waiting for their dance set of one or two dances. There was a bar maid and around 6 customers. There was little interaction between the girls offstage and the customers. The girl on stage would step down and collect dollars from the customers sitting at the bar. It's a bikini bar (not topless). I got a massage at the bar from the WOC who had just danced but she didn't do private dances. Another dancer said private dances were $30. Most of the other girls were white. They ranged in quality from 6 to 8. I stayed only 20 minutes, I doubt I'll come back, but I suppose it's ok for a lonely Army guy to get a beer after work.
