I went to the Skylite Bar several times, most recently on a Friday night at about 20:00. There was no cover charge to enter. The Skylite operates a regular bar during the day, but has strippers working on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights starting at 21:00. Occasionally, the schedule will be cut to two days if the bar cannot get dancers or a band is playing at the bar on a weekend, since the stripper stage doubles as the band stage. It is best to call ahead to confirm. The space is about 25 feet wide by about 125 feet deep. The bar is on the right side of the room. Further back, there are two pool tables and a half dozen video slot machines. The stage is in the left back corner and has one spinning pole. Music is played off of an internet jukebox until a DJ comes in later. Sincweisers are $3. The only food served is bar pizzas.

There were three dancers working when I visited. A typical weekend will have the same three dancers working Thursday through Saturday. All of the dancers I have seen working here so far have been Caucasian or Native American. There are no Instagram models, but typically at least one of the three dancers will be higher than a 7 on the hotness scale. Passion is the star of the show in my opinion. Private dances start at $20, but dancers can make their own fees. Based on the level of contact, I personally would not pay more than $20. Without going into much detail, dancers can touch you, but you are not supposed to touch the dancers. There was also something called a Hot Seat available for $30, but I have no clue what it entails. My guess is it is something similar to what happens when bachelors are dragged on stage during bachelor parties. There is no contact at the stage.

The Skylite Bar is open from 16:00 to 01:00 on Wednesdays and Thursdays and from 16:00 to 02:00 on Fridays and Saturdays. The Heart City used to have three or four different strip clubs a decade or two ago, mostly catering to pheasant hunters. They all closed down over time. The Skylite Bar was the only one to reopen. The clientele is mostly ranchers and Native Americans from South Dakota. The fall and winter bring hunters to the area, and the summer brings Niobrara River tubers and campers. This bar with strippers is the only adult entertainment option in the Sandhills, so you have to do your best with the three-card hand you are dealt.
