sinclair's Review

I went to The Mansion at 21:45 on a Saturday night. The parking lot is gravel, and there is only enough space to park one row of vehicles between the building and the road’s drainage ditch. The Mansion is in the middle of nowhere, and it is the complete opposite of a mansion. The building looks like several long buildings connected together on their ends. The strip club is exactly 5.3 miles west of Interstate 55 on Louisiana 16. At the door there is a $20 cover charge. You get a wristband if you are 21 or older since 18 to 20 years olds are allowed into the club.

Inside, there is a large island bar with twenty-one poles extending from the bartop to the ceiling. Most patrons sit at the bar, and anywhere from two to four dancers will be dancing on top of the bar at any given time. On the right side of the room, there is an oval octagon stage that is about a foot and a half off the ground with a spinning pole. It is surrounded by wheeled desk chairs. This secondary stage had no assigned dancer from the DJ’s rotation. Any dancer that wanted to make extra money could dance on the octagon stage. Sincweisers were $5, and it is kind of a long reach between yourself and the bartenders inside the island bar. The ATM had a maximum withdrawal of $200 per transaction and a $5 fee. There was a kitchen with two cooks in a room to the left of the main strip club room. The room with the kitchen also had some tables to eat at and a billiard table. The food actually looked and smelled good and you can watch it being made by the cooks. A shot girl will occasionally patrol the floor with a test tube rack.

Dancer quality is high, and The Mansion is close to being a 7-Up factory. It seemed like the vast majority of dancers were Caucasian, in their 20's, and had bodies that were generally athletic and slim. Stage contact was neither tame nor extreme. Dancers let me slide money into their g-strings, and I gave a few booties a smack. Stevies and grinding are not conducive to the dancers towering above the customers.
