After a few bad experiences at clubs, I finally found a gem.

Note: This is based on 2 visits made to Shimmers in a few weeks

Overview: After 2 poor strip club experiences within a week (see my review for The Venue and I chose not to review the other until I give it a second chance), I decided to try one last spot before throwing in the towel for a few months. So I went into Shimmers on a Wednesday at around 10:30 AM. My second visit was on a Friday at around the same time.

Club Description: The club is a decent-looking Portland Eastside dive. There is a large stage and a smaller side stage, with seats at both stages and tables in the middle. In the middle along the back wall is the horseshoe-shaped bar and along one wall of the bar half of the club are Oregon Lottery machines and the other wall has several booths. The bartender was friendly and my drink (Coke) was $3.50. The Club is well laid out.
