Take Me To Church

I was in Houston on business for several weeks. The third club I visited was St. James, and it was also the last. I didn't keep looking after I discovered St. James. I've been to a lot of clubs all over this great land of ours, but this is one of the nicest.

When you enter and pay your cover you pass through a metal detector, then enter the actual club. The first time I was there they had hostesses or servers waiting just inside the door to help you find a seat. This was a Friday night or a Saturday night. On other weekdays and on Sunday they don't always have anybody waiting at the door.

The stage is fairly large and straight ahead. There are tables all around the stage. As you enter the club floor there are two smaller stages, one on either side and raised area beyond that on either side with additional seating. There are two bars, also one on either side nearer the main stage.
